Meet Frenzy - An Indigenous Nigerian "Yoruba" Rapper

John Ogungbenro Oluwafemi referred to as Frenzy, can best be described as a young, gifted and Venomous indigenous Rapper. He never took entertainment seriously while growing up and does rap for fun as he has his eyes on other things far from entertainment. From age of 11, Rap has been an art he does for a getaway and escape when the need calls for it.

 

He, Frenzy, had a lovely upbringing in Ibadan (Nigeria) with his mum; where he attended Primary School and as well High school. His humble but wealthy background makes him see things differently and tends to live a very modest life. If he wasn’t singing he would have ended up being a Doctor; a profession he has so much Love for.

While starting out, he had full support of his mum and family that always stay beside him to make him believe in himself. He migrated to South Africa 2012 for a change of environment but soon discovered other side to what he does and worked hard on fitting in. He attended a school of thought to upgrade in terms of rap skills and masterpiece deliveries with that believe “You can’t change your past but you can change the future”.

What keeps him going is his openness to correction, ability to listen to people’s advice and always believing in himself. His Mission in the Industry is to do music that will move round Africa and the world over.  He had worked with couple of producers and has done couple of collaborations in South Africa. He has to his credit songs like BANK, YEA U KNOW, RIGHT ONE Ft. Bob to mention a few, and are all released under BOLIDE SOUNDS, the label he just got signed under.

Frenzy idolizes the likes of Jay-Z, Da Grin, Kuli Chana, M.I Abaga to mention a few. Philosophy he lives by is “Do what you love because you only live once”.

[NEW SINGLE] JOSSY DON1 - DIRTY

Jossy Don1 is one of Pretoria's fast rising dance hall artist. He releases a new single titled "Dirty" with aide of Black Chinese Entertainment.

Jossy Don1 is multi talented dance hall artist with skills in acting and singing. He is an indigene of Edo state (Nigeria) where he grew up. Real name Joshua Benedict Ihanza; Jossy don1 is from a humble Christian background.

Jossy Don1 attended tender age nursery and primary school in Edo state before he moved to Lagos at the age of Nine (9) with his parents. He thereafter attended Specialist College, Ogba Lagos. Jossy don1 discovered the music side of him when he met a crew called “Big Homies” that featured him on a song and then he decided to continue doing music afterwards.

Jossy Don1 attended Ambrose Ali University where he bagged a Diploma in Business Administration, he then attended Yaba College of Technology where he had OND in business Administration. Jossy Don1 was known for his artistry while in school as he got to perform at shows in school and events held outside campus. He has performed at various spots in Pretoria and outside pretoria.

His new single Dirty is dance hall song for the club and was produced by Mr. Morf. Be on the look out for more songs from him.

Mr. Sexy is a Nigerian artist based in South Africa; with lots of passion for the art of music. He move to South Africa in 2012 with the aim of polishing his gift. While in South Africa he has performed alongside known and up and coming acts.

X-Knights Entertainment ace artist and “Thank God For laptop” crooner have decided to raise the notch up a bit this year by putting together best hands to release the visuals to his freshest single “Ibadi Remix” featuring St. Seaba and Qwerty Hanky, the duo that blessed the song with their presence on it.  Ibadi the remix was produced by C-Tea Beat and has been a song that changes mood of the party since released.

This sassy and beautifully shot “Ibadi Remix Video”, which is a follow up, was shot in Johanesburg, South Africa and directed by Yann BK for Jashughatt pictures.
